Ok, maybe not :P I don't even own a gun so.... uh... here's the question.

Ahem, cue the drumroll...

I need help, is it better to farm General Akilles for the Blue Ghost or just wait until someone sells it at the bazaar? I fought him 163 times exactly, with no ghost. Please help if you can. Love the blog.

Well, lemme check the wiki for drop rates....

This is the page on blue ghosts.

Now, on the General Akilles page it says Blue Ghosts have a drop percentage of 2%.

2%???!!!! That's like one fifth of the time wild bolt will hit!!!!!

But, bazaar sniping is boring. And the only things people ever sell to the bazaar are items you could just buy in the pet shop like piggles and goat monks anyways.

I would say farm Akilles with a friend, because it's so much more fun with a friend ;) If you show up in the bazaar I would say maybe spend 3 minutes trying to find it. But it's your choice.

You might want to think if it's worth it or not. If you have farmed him like 163 times you might want to take a break you know. :P Maybe farm him later.

	The winds of spring are blowing across Wizard City, and with them come the fresh spirit of competition. Inspired by Earth’s finest athletes at their winter games, Wizards from every school and many worlds of the Spiral are ready to set forth on grand new adventures with their loyal pets alongside them, with exciting new activities and fresh challenges soon to come. When asked what’s in store for pet-owners, Merle Ambrose, headmaster of Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, replied: “This spring, pets will be able to do more than you have ever dared hope! These fine creatures will serve alongside you in wonderful new ways, taking you to unseen parts of familiar worlds, and in time to come, worlds beyond those you know! If you think you have seen all that the Spiral has to offer, young Wizard, you will soon discover an all new breed of entertainment!” When asked to elaborate, Ambrose replied cryptically, “The answer you seek may be in the stars... or it just might be there alongside you.”

CELESTIA! WHOOPEEE! This is actually really factual. We now know that...

1. Wizard City is awesome (though that was already obvious)
2. Krokotopia is less awesome than Wizard City (:P)
3. Piggles have grown chubbier in the last decade
4. Ninja Pigs will sneak up on Manders and massacre them

All jokes aside, these are the facts :P

1. Celestia will be underwater themed (or it will have floating crabs O.o)
2. There will be a new release with pets.

Hmm. Wonder what Merle's last sentence was about.
“The answer you seek may be in the stars... or it just might be there alongside you.”
Alongside you? Maybe something to do with the new quests? Maybe they're release a new star pet! lolz. It would be funny to have a star boinging alongside me :P

Oh, doh. I completely forgot to tell those who don't know about Celestia that about Celestia XD

Celestia is the topic of many threads over at Wizard101 Central. Celestia is the rumored "New World" because it has been hinted at in two quests.

One is by Shelus Gruffheart in Firecat Alley. He wants you to reclaim a Celestian artifact as one of his quests.

And then Mr. Rowley in Hyde Park wants you to get back his Celestian wristwatch.

These are hints that there is a world called Celestia.

People have gone to think that "Celestia" has something to do with the word "celestial" which is related to the sky or air.

And it looks like it might just be underwater :P(Unless there are flying crabs but that would be creepy O. O)

Hmm... So what do you think of this?

The Price of Exploiting

Recently players found an exploit that allowed them to unfairly obtain the new winged mounts. Players who participated in this exploit will have the items removed from their accounts. We will be recovering the item(s) and issuing a credit to the account equal to the gold amount paid. Players may experience disconnects while this inventory recall takes place. Players are welcome to re-purchase the item(s) according to the posted Crown pricing. If you participated in this exploit, know that we will not tolerate abuse of the systems in place. Using exploits in game is a violation of the Terms of Use and continued exploitation may result in permanent account bans.

Wow. You're lucky they didn't take yar gold too. I'm not gonna rant on the topic.... well maybe I am.

I never have been a big cheater in video games, because it just doesn't make me comfortable. I don't feel like I earned something if I just bought it with crowns or used an Action Replay :I I don't get why other people find exploits and use them... sure, you could be the big powerful guy but you'll never feel like you earned the stuff. The game won't be fun anymore. It not only is unfair to other players it also makes you feel bad. Also, you may get banned from the entire game. SO DON'T DO IT!

lol. Why even bother putting up that message? Everyone knows that I: Talking about 2d displays, I hate the low-level wizards who wear random clothing cause there's no level restrictions and look like myth wizards when they're really life wizards XD But now's not the time to rant.

I should really upload another random picture of the day. Come to think of it, I haven't updated my Wiz101 Central album in.... oh I'll do it now.

Yes! Now that Petrov Gloomstrider is down, so is the rest of the world! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

OK... maybe it isn't. But still, it was fun helephanting the heck out of a wizard and his colossus hobo minion (Rock Reaver) :D And now I get to activate the third crystal! Yippe! Now the only thing stopping me from finishing the tower archives is one more tower, and Katalin Nightseeker's side quest line.

As soon as she told me I had to fight Skeletal Pirate Hobos until I got a Note (Pirate Ravager) I just flipped out.

New! New! New!
Starting in the early hours of February 18th, the SHOP will carry some new items!

New Mounts!
One of the most requested Mount additions has been a pair of wings, and we've got TWO for you to choose from: Seraph Wings and Bat Wings. Both types of wings can be purchased for either gender! These Mounts are only available to purchase from the Crowns Shop for Crowns, but they can also be found on high level bosses of the Spiral!

New Weapons
Sometimes a wand just doesn't make quite the statement you were going for, so here are three Epic Weapons: The Ascendant Staff, the Phosphorescent Maul and the Cerulean Edge! Like the new Mounts, these weapons are only available to purchase from the Crowns Shop for Crowns, but they can also be found on high level bosses of the Spiral!

New Outfits
Those of you who remember the old retired Crowns gear will rejoice, these two new Epic outfits are made up from very powerful items with crazy powerful stats and cards! These items DO have a level restriction on them, but any level Wizard can buy them! If you see a small lock icon on these items in the SHOP that only indicates you cannot WEAR the item now, but you can purchase it, and store it for later. Again, these items are only available to purchase from the Crowns Shop for Crowns, but they can also be found on high level bosses of the Spiral (the bosses drop the individual items, not the entire sets).

These high level additions are just the beginning of new items that will be introduced to the Crowns Shop, because a young Wizard must be prepared for things to come....

Another Friendship Festival EndsIt's that time of year, again, young Wizards. Time for me to pack my bags and take my leave of the Spiral until the next Friendship Festival. I'm so happy that so many piggles have found good homes this year, and have fun casting your spells with those decorative wands.I'll be here for a little longer but expect me to leave the Spiral later today. Anyways in the life of Fred FirePants I have just done my first mob battle quest in Dragonspyre!
*Defeat Rotting Fodder Hobos until you obtain a Key

The problem was that Colossus Hobos kept getting in the way ;_;

I eventually got it after like five battles with two friends... we went through like 15 enemies... >.>

People must have thought I was crazy, because I kept on shouting "DARN YOU COLOSSUS HOBOS" and "DIE DIE DIE ROTTING FODDER HOBOS" and "I've got the Rotting Fodder Hobo, you get the Colossus Hobo"

For those of you that don't understand FirePantsSpeech, that means that these stupid colossus called "Rock Reavers" kept on interfering with my quest that said "Defeat Loathsome Creepers until you get the Key" by going into my battles with Loathsome Creepers. So I ended up killing alot of Colossus for nothing. Plus, I got the key after defeating like 15 925 health enemies... and I call any monster that staggers blindly like an oaf a "hobo". The Loathsome Creepers were Ghouls, so I called them Rotting Fodder Hobos. So ha.

STUPID ROTTING FODDER AND COLOSSUS HOBOS

good news: I got through most of the Village of Sorrow. I feel Dragonspyre coming! :D

bad news: Apparently if I play too much I get a headache.

Wow! Wizard101 released its first iTouch/iPhone application! It's a game called WizardBLOX that is a copy of the minigame Sorcery Stones but with a touch screen! You can get all sorts of prizes... like elixers, transformations, and even MOUNT RENTALS! Wow! :D And best of all it's FREE!

Yo! They updated the Ravenwood News and Newsletter a while back. First of all, there's a newsletter about secret trainers and shopkeepers. Clickey here. It also talks about the second book in Harold Argleston's book club. For those of you that don't know, that's where Harold posts a recommended book each month. This month's book(err series) is called the Chronicles of Prydain. I'll go read one maybe in my spare time :)

I'm sorry I haven't posted in, like, what, forever. But I had a few problems with Blogger. So here is my random post of the day(AKA, random rant of the day)

My first problem was that blogger wasn't exactly functioning correctly.

IN FRENCH! I know, right? <.<;;"

It wasn't SO serious. Just everything appeared in french and I couldn't read anything. I figured that it was fine as long as I could read other people's blogs, because, after all, other people typed in ENGLISH, and I don't think Blogger translates things.

And I KNEW I was not going to be able to carry on forever seeing stuff like THAT.

And so I hunted for the switcher-back-to-english-magic-button, which was hard because all the text was in french. But then I found the magic drop-down box.

Even I'm smart enough to figure out "Langue" means "Language"

So I scrolled down to the "E" Section, and couldn't find English. Then I realized all the "Langue" names were in french. And, I can safely say the English-Spanish translator was no help.

I decided to find some other way, and whaddya know, the "Langue" names were in their home language to the right of the Francais word.

And so, I was able to access my blog :P

I recently got inside the grate in Olde Town, and here are a few screenshots... :P

Well, now I know what it looks like underneath the olde town path. And I think I see Gloria Krendel's feet... and the smith.

Wow. If you're walking ON the path, it looks pretty neat. However, when you're BELOW the path, you start wondering how it can hold all those people.

Wow, the waterfall just goes on forever...and ever... and, aw now I'm dizzy.

Random idea..

OK, I had a weird idea yesterday, of making a photo booth inside my house. Unfortunately, at the time, I was broke, and only had two hundred gold. I wanted the Starfield Wallpaper from Marleybone and the Grassy Wallpaper from Wizard City to make the photo booth look like it was outdoors. I also needed two bookshelves to form the walls of the booth. Everything else I already had inside my house from previous quests and stuff. So, the problem was that that would cost 2,300 gold, which might not be a lot for most people, but like I said, I was broke. >_>

So I had a big debate thing, should I sell all the random clothes I had, or should I not?

I eventually sold all my useless clothes, and earned 1000 gold. I bought the Grass Flooring.

I was like, "ARRRGGGHHH, I need 1,300 more gold!"

Later in that day, a few friends who were farming Jade Oni asked me to join. I did, and sold all his useless drops for about 2,000 gold. I was once again "[in](e)ternally happy". I bought everything and got broke once more. But I made my photo booth! Sadly, it did not live to my expectations O_O;;

Clockworks hate me..?

I am VERY bored with Marleybone currently. I am PUSHING myself to EACH and EVERY side quest, and... uh, I'm getting bored. I felt very happy with myself for completing Ernest Haldings' first quest in Chelsea Court, which, by the way, is one of those quests where you fight something over and over again until you get an object, which, you have, like, a 10-20% chance of getting. Defeating these dumb clockworks. I fought, like, 40 of them and I finally got the internal gear. I was "[in](e)ternally" happy. I was like, "I DEFEATED 40 CLOCKWORKS! I CAN TAKE ANYTHING ON! EXCEPT MORE CLOCKWORKS!" Well, when I found out my next quest was to do to fight more clockworks, and collect another 10-20% chance item, I felt the urge to yell at Ernest Haldings and tell him "THERE IS NO WAY I AM GOING TO DO YOUR SECOND QUEST!" But, of course, the part of me that is OBSESSED with doing side quests won over.

So I fought like 15 more clockworks.

The whole time I slaughtered poor little clockworks for a greedy mutt who wanted spare parts, I think I made their village mad. Because, after that, I had bad luck each time I faced them.

For Example: Look at the picture on the left- EGAD! ONE HEALTH!

And from then on, in ALL my battles against clockworks, they attacked me, not one of the other two random guys O. O

Let me advise you, don't get on their bad side. >_>
